THE UNDISPUTABLE, UNDISMISSABLE, UNDENIABLE POWER OF PRAYER

When I hear of sadness and iniquities, it hits me to my core, then when it’s someone close to me, it brings me to a depth of sadness. Many people just learn to live with sadness and evil, but that’s not what God has in His plans.

Jesus prayed for direction and resolutions in his life. Jesus had a relationship with His Father, Jesus was in sync with the will of God. Jesus accepted death on the cross for the greater good that it would bring to mankind but, throughout His tribulations, God had not intended for Jesus to go through it alone.  Jesus was comforted by the affirmations God gave Him, He was comforted by angels every step of the way. You might think that Jesus was different, but He had a human side like all of us. He felt pain and heartaches too.

Someone close to me described some toxic situations happening to her at work, she had tears in her eyes, her heart was aching, but so was mine. No one should have to endure such evil. So, there was something I could do and that was to pray.

God answers prayers when they are prayed, God answers prayers through other people.

  • Together we asked Jesus to bring the truth and light into this situation, Jesus said in John 14:6 “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
  • Together, we cast out every form of evil she expressed.                                             (Jesus called his twelve disciples together and gave them authority to cast out evil spirits and to heal every kind of disease and illness-Matthew 10:1) Jesus passed on that power to us mortals too.
  • Together we asked God to  erase memories and words spoken over her that affected her spirit.
  • Together we asked Jesus to go before her and infill her space with joy peace, truth, honesty, love, kindness, knowledge, wisdom and understanding (The gifts of the Holy Spirit).
  • Together we praised and thanked Father God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit for Their glory, Their almighty power, mercy, abundance, forgiveness, love and redemption.

The next day, she messaged me, she was overjoyed at how quickly the situation had turned. Peace had come and apologies were given with strategies to make the workplace better.

PRAISE THE LORD! ALLELUIA!

So when bad things happen and bad things happen to good people, enter into prayer and allow Jesus to help you.

THE GOD OF MIRACLES-JESUS CHRIST ALIVE AND WAITING FOR YOUR PRAYERS

JESUS APPEARS AND SAVES TWO CHILDREN BURIED ALIVE!!!Image result for proverbs 3:5-6 catholic bible

In this report, the mother by opening her bible set God’s will in motion and Jesus raised her up to help her two children. All survived, this is no coincidence and only the work of God.The God of impossibilities who makes things possible, all glory and honour to God and Jesus Christ.  God can work for you too.

Miracles happen everyday but scepticism and spiritual blindness get in the way .

WHAT IS PRAYER?

Prayer is a surge of the heart; it is a simple look turned toward heaven, it is a cry of recognition and of love, embracing both trial and joy.1God the creator of all things is in command and in control of everything. Jesus Christ is Lord of all that God created. Prayer is our link to our creator God. When we pray to God, we attract God’s favour and through Jesus Christ we set God’s will in motion. Prayer is applied through the words we speak.  Our words are productive, setting things in motion and maintaining the momentum of what we have set in motion. We are told by the Lord in 1 Thess 5:17 to pray without ceasing.  God wants us to pray continually.(Catechism of the Catholic Church)

Surrender to God and he will grant you the desires of your heart.

Proverbs 15:6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.  In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

WAR LEAVES A STAIN, PEACE CLEANS IT UP!

PARIS IS NOT AT WAR!!!!! THE PEOPLE OF PARIS SHOULDN’T HAVE TO GO THROUGH THIS.  MY HEART IS BREAKING AS I ADD THIS, BECAUSE NO ONE SHOULD HAVE TO ENDURE SUCH DISRESPECT AND DESTRUCTION TO THE MORALE AND SAFETY OF THE PEOPLE OF PARIS. AN ATTACK ON PARIS IS AN ATTACK ON THE FREEDOMS OF THE WORLD. I THOUGHT WE LIVED IN A DEMOCRACY NOT IN AN AUTOCRACY!  YOU CAN’T HAVE IT BOTH WAYS.

I BELIEVE THAT ONLY GOD CAN HELP US GET THROUGH THIS.

Despite the immense evil of war, Jesus said it is inevitable that wars will continue until He returns (Mark 13:7-8), and He did not oppose earthly governments or their right to maintain armies (Matthew 8:5-10).

God listens to prayer and the more people pray the better

PLEASE JOIN ME IN PRAYER FOR WORLD PEACE AND HELP FOR THOSE DISPLACED BECAUSE OF WAR.

The LORD is close to the brokenhearted
and saves those who are crushed in spirit.’
(Psalm 34:18)

We pray for all whose lives                                                                                                 have been touched by tragedy,
whether by accident
or a deliberate act.
For those who mourn,
immerse them in your love
and lead them through this darkness
into your arms, and light.
For those who comfort,
be in both the words they use
and all that’s left unspoken;
fill each heart with love.
We ask this through Jesus Christ,
whose own suffering brought us life,
here and for eternity. Amen

THE DIFFERENCE A FEW ADJUSTMENTS CAN MAKE

Image result for 21 regrets on your deathbedDuring these last couple of weeks, I have had friends lose loved ones, friends die and I have attended some funerals. With the advent of Christmas and the need to focus on how we can grow spiritually, the research findings below really caught my eye.

We all have regrets, it’s part of our humanness, but wouldn’t it be helpful if we had hindsight?

21 Regrets people confess on their deathbeds

We might even use this list as an examination of conscience, or to help us to pray for the grace to live in a way that might prevent our feeling these regrets later in our lives.

For the times when I set a bad example, and there were people who followed my lead

For my indifference in the face of someone’s suffering

For failing to say so many words of praise, recognition and encouragement to those who deserved them or needed them

For claiming credit for my triumphs but blaming my failures on circumstances

For having failed to respect someone’s innocence or having blocked someone’s dreams

That I wasted money on things that I didn’t need and never used

For the times I took too much time and not enough effort to forgive

For taking advantage of someone who loved me, in order to get something for myself

For not being careful to guide those I should have educated better, before it was too late

For not visiting or sharing time with people because I thought they weren’t interesting, educated or useful

For fleeing the cross so many times

For savoring adulation even while knowing it was false

For complaining much more often than I gave thanks

For the stubborn, vulgar or rude words that came out of my mouth

For participating in conversations making fun of God, the faith or the Church

For wasting so much time on empty things… time that can’t be gotten back

For the promises I didn’t keep

For the times that I could have and should have prayed more, and above all, with more love

For ignoring Jesus.

That I hurt or harmed someone in any way

For lacking love. I should have loved God and my neighbor much more. –

PRAYER

Dear Lord,

Please forgive me for ignoring others and failing to see the truth. Help me to see the error of my ways and to make adjustments to my life so that I can make a difference for myself and for the people around me. I ask this in the name of Jesus Christ. AMEN

WHERE’S THAT HEALTHY ‘FEAR OF THE LORD’ GONE????

Image result for psalm 128

Fear of the Lord is something I feel has gone out of fashion or is “too conservative” to think, some of my contemporaries have told me. Today, society is bombarded with media that is conditioning us to think that we need this or that to make our lives better and easier such as I PHONES, I PADS, I TUNES, YOU TUBE, ME BANK, ETC..    Liposuction here, a facelift and tuck here or just…..to ‘Follow your heart.”              IT’S ALL ABOUT I AND ME, MYSELF AND I.

All these things keep us away from God. Our eyes are not on God, our eyes are fixed on worldly things, God is not at the centre, rather it’s on the ME and I.

What about the ‘we’ ‘He’ or ‘Him’ ?

People have forgotten that this life is a test, that it’s good to abstain and go without, that we sometimes need to sacrifice or give up things to help us grow stronger and respect the fact that things are never going to be exactly as we would like them. Did Jesus not wear a crown of thorns?

Fear of the Lord is not about being fearful of God, it’s not a servile fear whereby a person serves God simply because he fears punishment. Or a fear that God doesn’t love you or that you aren’t good enough. It’s that healthy fear of the Lord, respect, that awe of God and wonder that we need to bring back into our lives.  This gift enables a person “to avoid sin and attachment to created things out of reverence and love of God. Fear of the Lord means to have a profound respect for the majesty of God who is the supreme being.

People have forgotten that God is in control, that He giveth and taketh, that He doesn’t want us to fix our eyes on the worldly things, because they won’t bring us happiness. Happiness comes from within, happiness comes when your heart is at peace, happiness comes in knowing who you are in Christ and trusting God and Jesus Christ to provide you with what you need.

God loves you unconditionally,  God is there for you, God wants you to spend some time with Him  and His Son Jesus in prayer and in relationship with them.

How do I do that you might ask? Well… you can start by shifting your thinking, pray to the Holy Spirit to infill you afresh with His gifts, to focus on relationships, on what is good and praiseworthy, on what is pleasing to God. Now some sacrifices are needed here, but it’s for the greater good.

PRAY TO THE HOLY SPIRIT TO IMPART HIS GIFTS UPON YOU EVERYDAY

Come Holy Spirit infill me afresh with your special gifts of patience, kindness, self control, knowledge, wisdom, understanding, joy, peace, love and Fear of the Lord.

Pray and hope for yourself and then for the person down the road

Today I asked God to show me how I can be a blessing to others. So I went to the the shopping centre and I had noticed a dramatic change in one of the stores. It wasn’t vibrant and popping with colour, the shelves looked sparse and the person behind the counter was not who I remembered. While I was browsing, I heard the person behind the counter talk to one of his regulars, it wasn’t a comfortable conversation but he told the customer that he was closing shop.

Well, I have been doing prayer healing for four years now, so when I heard this, my heart leapt and my immediate response was to reach out to the owner. So I did, I asked him what was happening and he told me his sad story. He told me that he bought the business and the papers were all legitimate and after the trial run, everything looked fine but apparently they weren’t. Business was not as it seemed, he couldn’t pay the rent, the centre management was on his back and that he was on the verge of losing his house. He told me that he had been a good person all his life, worked as a teacher for many years and this was his life change. I asked him if he was a praying man and he said no! I told him he had nothing to lose. He replied saying that he didn’t feel right or deserving, that he shouldn’t ask God at this point.

I told him that it’s exactly at this point that he should get on his knees and surrender to God. God knows all His children, especially during difficult times He expects us to draw near to Him.

In God’s realm there is no present, past or future, your life was mapped out for you, at birth. God has treasures stored up for you, all you have to do is claim them. “What better time to claim them than now,” I said. “But God doesn’t know me,” he said.

My point to all this is that God knows us by the hairs on our heads, He knows all our coming and goings, he knows us up close and personal. He wants us to ask and to ask big!!!!!! Isn’t He the God who breathed life into us? Isn’t He the God who  gave us the earth, mountains, sea etc…? The God who parted the Red Sea? The God who raised Jesus to new life? So what is the difficulty in God paying someone’s bills? Helping a person in  need? It’s a piece of cake for Him and you don’t even have had to earn it! Allow God to be your Father! What does a father want for his children?  He wants the best for them and the opportunity to help them when asked.  Prayers are answered when they’re prayed. All you have to do is have faith. GOD COULDN’T HAVE MADE IT ANY EASIER!!!!! We are children of the most high God, to a God of impossibilities who makes all things possible.

I  left saying that I would pray for him and then asked God to take care of business. That night I thanked God for the opportunity of serving Him because my life has been blessed in so many ways and it’s all because of Him.

Humble yourself before God and He will give you the desires of your heart.

THE TWO WOLVES INSIDE YOU

THE CHOICES WE MAKE EVERYDAY AFFECT OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD

There is a fight inside of us all, the fight against good or evil, one that we have to deal with on a daily basis. Often we don’t know which way to go.  When you pray and ask for guidance, the Holy Spirit, (Spirit of God and  Spirit of Jesus) is the one to pray to. The Holy Spirit is the shaker, the one who gets you to move and make a choice, the one who guides that wee little voice inside you,  to make the right choice and to help you fulfil what God has planned for you. It’s often those split second decisions that can make all the difference between making a good and a bad choice, between death or life.                                                                                  PRAY FOR GUIDANCE AND ASK THE HOLY SPIRIT TO SHOW, LEAD AND GUIDE YOU TO THE TRUTH! ( SEE HOLY SPIRIT )
