YOUR BAD DAYS ARE SOMEONE’S GOOD DAYS! Count your blessings and you’ll soon forget your troubles
Pray and give your troubles to God. I know that there will be days of tribulation but they will pass. Not believing in God’s abundance gives insult to God. Give thanks for His Son Jesus, because Jesus is everything……………..now as I’m writing this, the prayer to St. Teresa of Avila comes to mind because it has got me through some tough times. So here it is. God works through others.
……………………………….and being thankful and humble brings glory to God.
I’ll leave you with this beautiful song from an old favourite by Bing Crosby
Our fate is in our own hands
“So I tell you this, that for every unfounded word people utter they will answer on Judgement Day,37 since it is by your words you will be justified, and by your words condemned.” Matthew 12: 36-37
IT WON’T BE GOD JUDGING US AT THE END, BUT OUR WORDS AND ACTIONS. “So then, each of us will give an account of himself to God” (Romans 14:12 ). Believers will be rewarded based on those good works—how faithfully we served Christ (1 Corinthians 9:4-27), how well we obeyed the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20), how victorious we were over sin (Romans 6:1-4), how well we controlled our tongues (James 3:1-9), etc.
The end of our soul’s journey will be either in an eternal heaven or in an eternal hell (Matthew 25:46). We must choose where we will be by accepting or rejecting the sacrifice of Christ on our behalf, and we must make that choice before our physical lives on this earth come to an end. After death, there is no longer a choice, and our fate is to stand before the throne of God, where everything will be open and naked before Him (Hebrews 4:13). Romans 2:6 declares that God “will give to each person according to what he has done.”
Words must not be evil and must be actively good. Faith must be lived, faith without works is dead.
When Jesus healed, when He raised the dead, He commanded the problem to leave. It was as simple as that, Jesus gave the power to the apostles in Matthew 10:1 ” Then he summoned his twelve disciples* and gave them authority over unclean spirits to drive them out and to cure every disease and every illness”. Jesus gave us this power too.
Pray and ask Jesus to heal by naming the specific part that needs healing, name the body part, the bones, muscles, ligaments, disease, ailment, eyes, teeth, head, emotional problem etc…that relate to your problem.
There are blockages to healing, so with sincerity:-
REPENT :– Be still, defer to Jesus and ask for the areas in which you need to repent.
FORGIVE:–Give to God all your physical, spiritual and emotional pain and forgive all those who have hurt you .
REBUKE:– Let go, by giving it to Jesus all evil that may have been transferred unto you from family, friends or acquaintances.
THANK,PRAISE & WORSHIP:– Praise, thank and worship God The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. It is from God the Father through the power of Jesus and the Holy Spirit that lives in us, that true healing can occur.
IT IS A PRAYER OF FORGIVENESS, REPENTANCE AND HEALING ALL IN ONE
The Our Father is the best of all prayers because it is the Lord’s Prayer, taught us by Jesus Christ Himself, and because it is a prayer of perfect and unselfish love. See Matthew 6:9-13 and Luke 11:2-4.
When we say “and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us,” we pray that God will pardon the sins by which we have offended Him, and we tell Him that we pardon our fellow men who have offended us.
For if you forgive men their offenses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you your offenses. But if you do not forgive men, neither will your heavenly Father forgive you your offenses. (Matthew 6:14-15)
When we say “and lead us not into temptation,” we pray that God will always give us the grace to overcome the temptations to sin which come to us from the world, the flesh, and the devil.
Because thou wast acceptable to God, it was necessary that temptation should prove thee. (Tobias 12:13)
When we say “but deliver us from evil,” we pray that God will always protect us from harm, and especially from harm to our souls.
I do not pray that thou take them out of the world, but that thou keep them from evil. (John 17:15)
FORGIVENESS AND REPENTANCE CAN BE YOUR BEST FRIENDS. THERE ARE MANY BLOCKAGES TO INNER HEALING, TWO OF THOSE ARE UNFORGIVENESS & UNREPENTANCE
Peter asked Jesus how many times should he forgive his brother. Peter thought maybe seven times might be a fair limit. But Jesus said“seventy times seven” (Matthew 18:21-22). Of course Jesus didn’t mean literally 490 times, but rather that the number of times are not to be counted.
We all know how hard it is to forgive, especially when the scars run deep. But that unforgiveness and unrepentance of your own sins, can really hold you back from receiving God’s grace.
YOU CANNOT MAKE ANOTHER PERSON RECONCILE TO YOU Being angry is not a sin, it’s what you do that makes the difference.
- FORGIVENESS doesn’t mean you have to continue the friendship with the person who has hurt you
- FORGIVENESS doesn’t mean reconciliation, reconciliation takes two people, but the injured party can forgive an offender without reconciliation.
- FORGIVENESS doesn’t mean forgetting, deep hurts can rarely be wiped out of one’s awareness
- FORGIVENESS does not mean condoning, forgiveness doesn’t mean excusing bad or hurtful behaviour
- FORGIVENESS doesn’t mean dismissing the bad behaviour, one cannot pass it off as inconsequential or insignificant
- FORGIVENESS doesn’t mean a pardon, a pardon is a legal transaction which releases an offender from the consequences of an action, such as a penalty. Forgiveness is a personal transaction that releases the one offended from the offence. So forgive and then forgive again, give them (the offender..s) ) to God, let Him deal with the hurt so that you may be free. If you are holding on to hurts, they may be manifesting themselves in spiritual and physical ways, such as sleeplessness, headaches, distrusting innocent people, not wanting to be social or make new friends. Pray to God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit to give you the strength to move on.SEE WITH JESUS’ EYES, ASK JESUS TO GIVE YOU A NEW REVELATION ENABLING YOU TO SEE ( offender) AND THE SITUATION THROUGH HIS EYES. PRAYERS
- Lord please release me from all effects of emotional and spiritual hurts I have received and from the effects of my own reactions to them.
- Lord please release (name of offender) from my wrong attitudes and harmful thoughts. I release ( him/her) to You who judges fairly. ( Mat 18:18) ( 1Peter 2:23)
- Lord please bless (name the offender) ‘s life and I give them to you. (Is: 41: 9-11)
Mary was of strong faith and allowed herself to be used by God to give us our saviour Jesus Christ. Mary is our link between heaven and earth. Mary was not the miracle worker, nor the healer. Mary brings another dimension to the person of Jesus. She helps us understand Jesus more, she leads us to him and intercedes for us all, by asking Jesus on our behalf to intervene for us in times of trouble, she brings Jesus to us. If you love Mary then you love Jesus, because Jesus so loved Mary, Jesus gave us Mary to help us, so she is our mother too. Catholics don’t worship Mary, they honour her because of the special qualities she has that we aspire to.
The rosary is a series of prayers that lead us to Jesus. The faithful pray the rosary to receive miracles and favours from God.

THE CHOICES WE MAKE EVERYDAY AFFECT OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD
There is a fight inside of us all, the fight against good or evil, one that we have to deal with on a daily basis. Often we don’t know which way to go. When you pray and ask for guidance, the Holy Spirit, (Spirit of God and Spirit of Jesus) is the one to pray to. The Holy Spirit is the shaker, the one who gets you to move and make a choice, the one who guides that wee little voice inside you, to make the right choice and to help you fulfil what God has planned for you. It’s often those split second decisions that can make all the difference between making a good and a bad choice, between death or life. PRAY FOR GUIDANCE AND ASK THE HOLY SPIRIT TO SHOW, LEAD AND GUIDE YOU TO THE TRUTH! ( SEE HOLY SPIRIT )
