You can apply the above quote to any area of your life, to your relationships, a husband and wife who work together can grow a family and prosper it. At work you can delegate and use the talent you have before you and achieve more. In your church you can grow the kingdom of God and inspire or touch others. One never knows how far reaching a word, a kind gesture can be or where it may lead.
Take Jesus for example, would his teachings have been as effective if it hadn’t been for the good, the bad and the ugly that came out of the people back then or his twelve disciples? I don’t think so, the ugly bits were necessary to show how we don’t have to be perfect like Peter. Judas didn’t have to end it because Jesus would have forgiven him. Mary Magdalene had seven demons cast out and she was the first Jesus appeared to at his resurrection, all because she had faith. Zaccheus gave more than he took to make amends for his sins. So, my point is that we need one another, work together even though sometimes things may turn bad but with prayer God will raise us up. God can renew us by chiselling away what He deems unnecessary, so that He can build us up to be better, stronger and wiser.
The reflection below is of the habit of the geese, but I think we can all learn from it and apply the same principles to our own lives.
Let me know what you think:)
